Freelance Digital Graphic Designer Location New York, NY :

Ring Concierge is a rapidly growing female-founded fine jewelry company specializing in customized engagement rings and fine jewelry. We are seeking a Freelance Digital Graphic designer to become an integral part of our team. In this role, the Freelance Digital Graphic Designe r will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing graphic toolkits and creative to support initiatives across platforms (ecomm, in-store, social, email/SMS, ads, packaging and print). You will help lead visual communications standards that sets our brand apart from our competitors, using data-driven design decisions to create optimized assets across channels.The ideal candidate has the ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of what drives converting creative on each of our channels and design within established best practices.
• Execute an on-brand visual brand book and style guide to be used across all digital and print mediums ensuring consistency of brand look and feel & voice.
• Develop visual toolkits across channels (email, sms, social, ads, etc) that communicate Ring Concierge's business goals and support an agile workflow.
• Work closely with other creative and marketing collaborators on daily approvals and feedback to ensure that our work adheres to the highest design standards and accurately reflects our brand.
• Develop and maintain UX principles, web style guides, and other supporting materials to enable efficient development and delivery of web initiatives (homepages, landing pages, content modules, etc).
• Design against weekly deliverable needs across channels: email/sms campaigns, social stories, paid ads, web updates, print and brand collateral.
• Communicate all necessary information with relevant team members for projects from start to finish.

About You

• You are a self-starter with a passion for commercial, consumer-centric design.
• You have a deep understanding of the nuances of visual design across various platforms (DTC, social, email, etc) and are able to pivot your creative to align with these variables.
• You know how to multitask, manage time, communicate with clarity and transparency, and organize projects to support a collaborative creative team.
• You are a Figma guru and know how to work in a creative systems mindset.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (Graphic Design, Web Design, Marketing or related field of study preferred) and relevant work experience
• Ability to work full-time hours
• Expertise with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Strong online portfolio of previous work for major retailer
• Previous retail brand experience working for a luxury fashion, beauty or jewelry brand, a plus

Details - NYC

• Hybrid role located in midtown NYC
• Office Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the knowledge that we have a startup culture and your day may extend past listed office hours (with the possibility of weekends during busy season or sales)
• The hourly rate for this position is $50-60/hour, commensurate with experience
