About the Role
We’re hiring a General Manager to lead and scale branch operations for a growing commercial roofing contractor in the Hampton Roads area. This is a key leadership role focused on re-roofing operations , production oversight, and partnership with the sales team to ensure quality execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all daily operations of the Hampton Roads commercial roofing branch
Lead re-roofing projects , crew scheduling, labor planning, and safety compliance
Build and mentor a high-performing team (production, service, admin)
Oversee job execution, material coordination, quality control, and margin performance
Collaborate with the sales and estimating teams to ensure scope alignment
Own branch P&L, client experience, and overall performance metrics
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in commercial roofing operations or production management
Strong background in low-slope roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, mod-bit)
Proven leadership in field operations, labor management, and scheduling
Experience partnering with sales to deliver successful re-roofing projects
Strong decision-making skills and ability to lead in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
Local market knowledge of Hampton Roads is a plus
