BAE Systems is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a passion for engineering and the desire to be part of an innovative, dedicated team responsible for industry-leading Global Positioning Systems (GPS) products. Our team needs someone interested in a hands-on experience working in a Environmental Lab. This position offers abundant opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge of hardware qualification tests, documenting test prodedures & reports and working in a team environment.

Assignments may include tasks such as creating test reports, monitoring qualification tests, setting up qualification tests and support equipment.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Applicant must be pursuing a STEM degree in an applicable engineering or science field
• Experience with Word

• Prefer applicants pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree
• Ability to work with a diverse team
• A genuine desire to learn and innovate

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $41818 - $56444

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
