Principal SAP BW/HANA/Datasphere Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP BW Hana Datasphere Consultant

As a Principal Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team and subject matter expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value‑adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
• This position is based in Louisville, KY. The role may require travel to project/Client's location.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in SAP BI/BW4HANA + ABAP Consultant (Nice to Have) in several full cycle SAP implementations.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP BW on HANA/BW4HANA and integration with other Modules/Line of Business.
• Understanding of SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, BW/BW4HANA PCE and SAC is must.
• 2 full lifecycle Implementation/migration experience in BW4 HANA with Capacity to work independently.
• Define and build mapping SAP with various downstream and upstream integration.
• Proficient in BW back end object development – DSO’s, ADSO’s, InfoCubes, MultiProviders, composite providers, Infosets, open hubs, Infopackages, DTP’s.
• Good experience in working with complex data flows, BW best practices, performance improvement.
• Should have basic ABAP knowledge, debugging skills.
• Very good understanding of BW delta concepts, data modeling and Bex Queries BO HANA experience is good to have.
• Expertise in design and development of HANA models – Calculation view, Procedures, Table Functions.
• Excellent skills in SQL.
• Must have Excellent Communication skill.
• SAP BW on HANA and SAP BW/4HANA architecture and development.
• SAP HANA modeling, SQL scripting, and performance optimization.
• SAP Datasphere (Data Warehouse Cloud) configuration and integration.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem‑solving and Excellent communication skills, flexibility, responsiveness.
• Good to have Handled Team of 4 to 6 Developers, Should have led a sizeable engagement with direct business interaction.
• Define work plan based on SAP methodologies, taking into account the technical and business requirements of customer.
• Collaborate with business and other stakeholders for Fit Gap Analysis.
• Develops and supports analytical applications leveraging data modelling, data architecture, ETL (extract, transform and load), end user reporting & analytics.
• Define key indicators and dashboards configuration, taking into account the technical and business requirements of customer. Support activities to other functional elements.
• Problem solving, analysis and support to the development of new applications and business solutions for the customer.
• Customize SAP functionality to satisfy business unit requirements, scope, plan for risk and issues.
• Perform the end user, knowledge transfers and production support activities and resolved various issues apart from the above‑mentioned subject areas.
• Self‑motivated to new methodologies and technologies for management projects.
• High‑energy, confident professional with enthusiasm for IT technology.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams to ensure success.

The job entails extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
